OathQR

Free forever · no account · no watermark

Your contact card, saved to their phone in one scan.

Name, phone, email, company, all encoded as a standard vCard that iPhone and Android cameras read natively. Put it on business cards, email signatures or booth banners. It works offline and never expires.

Scanning saves the card straight into the phone's contacts (vCard 3.0, read natively by iPhone and Android). Your details live inside the code, not on our servers.

This code is pure data. It carries your content directly instead of a link through our servers, so it can't expire and we couldn't turn it off if we wanted to.

I.

It cannot expire

Static codes are pure data. There is no timer, no scan limit and no trial, so there is nothing that can run out.

II.

It never touches our servers

The code is generated in your browser. We never see your content, so we have nothing to hold hostage.

III.

No account, no watermark

Download PNG, SVG or print-ready PDF and use it commercially, without signing anything.

Better than a paper card, and it works together with one

A vCard QR code on the back of your business card means nobody has to type your details: one scan and you are in their contacts, spelled correctly, with the right country code. At a trade fair, put it on the booth wall. Freelancers drop it into proposals and email signatures.

The honest limitation

The vCard standard is data, not a link. That is why it works offline and why nobody can put it behind a subscription. The flip side: printed codes can't be edited. Print what won't change and regenerate when it does. If you need a card that updates itself after printing, that is a dynamic code, the paid tool, with a plain price and no trap.

Questions, answered plainly

Does the person scanning need an app?
No. The built-in camera on iOS and Android recognises vCard data and offers to save the contact directly. It even works with no internet connection, because the details are inside the code itself.
Will my details be stored on your servers?
No. The code is generated entirely in your browser, so your name, phone and email never leave your device. We couldn't sell your data if we wanted to, because we never receive it.
What if my phone number or job changes?
A static vCard code can't be edited after it's printed, so you generate a new one. It's free, as many times as you like. If you print large batches and expect changes, a dynamic code you can update in place is the right tool, and it's the part of this site that costs money. We say so up front.
How much information should I include?
Less is more: every extra field makes the code denser and harder to scan at small sizes. Name, one phone, one email and a website scan comfortably on a standard 85×55 mm business card.
Can I add my logo to the code?
Yes, upload a logo in the customiser. The code automatically switches to a higher error-correction level so it stays scannable with the logo on top.
